History of Stocks & Chairs

Stocks and Chairs is a family run business based in Poole on the south coast of Britain, specialising in Antique leather chairs and settees, and has been established since the early '90's. It is one of the few companies that specialises in dying the leather by hand after it has been upholstered onto the chair, which gives the perfect finish. Old look but new full Scottish hide thickness leather.

They have been restoring antique leather chairs and settees successfully for many years.  Quality antique restorations are a unique skill learnt by craftsmen over many years, and are still very fashionable today

These unique chairs and settees are so authentic that they have been bought by MGM Studios, Disney Films, Ralph Lauren, The Rolling Stones and interior designers in Paris, Cannes, Moscow, New York, Cape Town and of course London. Abraham Lincoln sits in one in The Madame Tussauds Museum in Washington D.C.
